Panasonic was founded in Osaka, Japan on March 13, 1918. The Founder was Konosuke Matsushita who excels in the consumer electronics and semiconductor industry. They create a wide variety of products including microcomputers, general purpose and discrete devices, opto electronic devise, and Application-Specific Standard-Product ICs. They have 9 production plants where they manufacture their products. They design their own Bipolar ICs, MOS LSIs, LEDs, lasers, and power transistors in each of these 9 plants following by testing each individual product to perfect it for their customers. Panasonic has a philosophy that has never changed since their founding which is that their customers and the public is always first.
