Maxim was founded in 1983 by Jack Gifford and IC industry experts. Their headquarters are in Sunnyvale, California and their current President and CEO is Tunc Doluca. Maxim employs approximately 9,300 throughout 24 sales offices, 40 technology design centers, and 11 wafer fabs and test facilities. In the fiscal year of 2011 they totaled approximately $2.5 billion dollars. They have a wide range of products that create an extensive portfolio. They create highly integrated systems on chips SoCs, ICs, ASICs, memories, microcontrollers, and much more.
